Default Par 3's = Trouble
My iron game is probably the strength in my game. I'm good with them all over the course- fairways, rough, scrambling, etc... I can hit my 4 iron as well as my pitching wedge. Except I'm having some trouble off the tee on par 3's. All of a sudden I hit my 8 iron (insert any iron here) fat, top, bad misses. It all changes when I step on the tee box. Does anyone else experience this? I know it's all mental, any good tips to overcome this? Do you tee it up on par 3's? Play it off the grass? Relax your grip? Any help appreciated!
