both, depends on the lie and pin position... feel more comfortable with a lob wedge because I am a pretty aggresive bunker player and like to explode balls out of the sand

If the pin is close to where I'm shooting I'll pull a 60* If i got a lot of room I like to take more ball and use a 54* opened up.

56-13 is my greenside bunker wedge. Frankly, I think I could use a bit less bounce.

Like the others, for a greenside, I use my 60*, a little further out, and the loft goes down accordingly (I've even hit my hybrids out of fairway bunkers)

I just got back from practicing with Jay...I was blown away by his club choice, I have NEVER seen a guy do so much with a 60* wedge. Everything from bunkers to pitches to chips - he carried it around like it grew out of his left arm. (At one point he answered a phone call and did quite a bit chipping just with his left arm. I told him he had to stop cause it was embarrassing!) I thought guys would naturally lean towards being gearheads, specifically pros with dispensable income for golf, but it was refreshing to see a fellow play with such simple tools...he gave me a bunch of pointers and had me feeling a lot better about my little wedge, here when I've been stealing extras from my partner's bag all along.

Not me -- I'm asking too! But if so, I think that's very cool. I need to land a lesson with our Blingo Queen! I know I read on his blog that Jay was contemplating offering lessons, but I thought they were on course / course management style lessons.

No, he just lives a couple minutes from me, he's a friend of mine...he's just awesomely helpful and I hope he likes to be. (He always asks if I want advice, I find that funny - "um...yeah, that'd be nice..."!)

But in all seriousness, he maintains that whatever shot you want to take - distance, flight, etc. - is determined by how much you open or close your clubface (a little bit on your swingpath). He really proved it to me, I'm a believer.

Did you ever hear back from that company about the sand club whose link I sent you a while back? I plan on getting it to see how it works by the time the new season rolls around, but if you have a chance to reiew it, I'd love to get your take on it first.

Depends on the lie in the sand, what type of sand and how far away I am from the green. Having said that I have a 54* w/ 12* of bounce and a 60* w/ 4* of bounce and a sole grind. Usually it's the 54 for the extra bounce.
