That sucks dude sorry to hear that! The bright side is that it happened at home and insurance will replace everything.

That stinks man, just seems like it's becoming more common nowadays to hear of someone getting ripped off. I'm sure everything will work out fine though, good luck.

There will always be other companies that can pick up your insurance if this company cancels. I would be pretty surprised that they would cancel over this small of a claim though regardless of whether or not you had a larger one earlier in the year. Agents will always go with the side of caution, because if the policy gets dropped, they lose their renewal dollars. Not a knock on them, because they are being honest, but truth is that this is exactly what you pay for insurance for. If they spit out the dollars and choose to cancel you, then you can find another happy company waiting to take your money with in 15 minutes.
I agree. And it could be a blessing in disguise, going with a new company could get you a better deal or better coverage for the same money.

Good luck buddy.

Really sorry to hear about that. I've been seeing quite a few theft stories recently, people just suck these days! I agree with some of the sentiments here, you should probably make the insurance claim...

Man, I hate seeing these threads. Sickening. I keep my clubs in the backseat of my truck generally as well. I do find myself thinking of my clubs being stolen more and more now after a few of these threads have popped up. While at the golf shop/driving range yesterday, I put my clubs in the car before going into the shop to look around where before I would just leave my bag in the bag drop area before while I went inside.

Good luck with the insurance company.

It seems like every month we see a new post on THP about someone getting their clubs stolen. It is very depressing to read. Being someone who had their clubs stolen I know how it feels. I am very concerned about where I choose to store/place my clubs now.

As far as the insurance goes, you HAVE to make the claim. You pay all this money every month for a reason. You cant control how often you have to make claims. Its not like you are filing false claims to get new stuff. If your insurance company drops you...their loss, possibly your gain with a better company. After I got my clubs stolen and purchased new one, I got a rider just for my clubs on my renters insurance that will cover them anywhere they are damaged or stolen for almost twice the amount of the clubs. Luckily I only have to pay a $500 deductible.

Sorry to hear about this. I wonder if the economy is playing a part of the rashion of burglaries? People are still wanting to do the things they use to but with the job market the way it is they elude to stealing? Who knows! Sorry again.

i hope you get the stuff back, it really sucks that this happened. The clubs and the tools can be replaced, sucks to hear about the ring! Good luck with catching the person or people who did this
