I'm a fan of Camilo's technique:
Sand behind the ball and point your club straight up in the air, lining it up with your target. Move your eye way down the shaft until you hit a good intermediate target, just a couple feet in front of the ball. Then it's as simple as setting the clubface perpendicular to the intermediate target, and stepping right into position.
This is what I do as well. I pick a spot 6" to 8" in front of the ball on the same line and hit over that line. But, I liked what was in the vid, good stuff.
