Default How to Keep Bugs Away on the Course?
The mosquitos have gotten so bad at my course I can't even play without them buzzing around. I feel its such a distraction and I can't even play well or hit properly without losing focus.

I've heard of putting a bounce sheet in your pocket keeps them away, does anyone else have any other tips? Bug Spray just doesnt seem to work.

I keep a thing of Insect Repellant Wipes in my bag. They are quick, easy, painless, odor free, and work wonders. Just take one out, wipe yourself down and you are good to go.

The off! wipes, work well, because you can reup your bugspray quickly and efficiently. Also, i wear sunglasses to keep the bugs out of my eyes

I use the sun screen that has bug replant in it and have had great results. The mosquito's have been horrid here, especially at the lake and this stuff even worked there.

Big problems with gnats here this season. I've just been swallowing them and sucking them into my nose to get rid of them.

I was wondering about this as well. The course I play had bees (last round didnt see any) and wasps (again none last round). No joke I was gonna get some of that spray Billy the Exterminator uses. Not harmful to pets or humans. But Ill try the wipes!

That is exactly what I use to. Put some on your wrists, neck and legs and you won't have a bug within 5 feet of you.

I tried the wipes today and they were great for my face, besides that I had to completely cover my body and I wore a sweater in hot weather just to keep them away.

The main thing I guess I'm worried about is them buzzing around your ears just when you are about to shoot.

The only think bugging me on the course, besides mishits, are horseflies. Luckily it's just a few holes. I don't wear a glove and I find if I use sunscreen or bugspray I get a residue on my hands that makes the club a bit slick....
