I played 3 years before truly dedicaating myself to getting better a year ago - so in my 4th season I began lessons every 2-4 weeks, vs maybe 7-8 in the 3 yrs prior total.

I have as put much time and effort into it as I could do into in the past year, range 1-2 times and play 1-2 times per week, and I got down from a 21 to a 15.

When youre really working hard and investing in lessons, its tough to accept that this game takes a long time to get good at, and the progress you see is usually a gradual upward slope, not leaps and bounds better with a quick fix.

Keep working, keep studying the game, and set realistic goals each season to benchmark your progress. That will keep all the hard work in perspective.
