Default Debris In Sand
It was quite windy here yesterday and somewhat windy today so there were a lot of sticks and leaves on the course today. You get used to that here, but there is an apple tree that borders the 18th green. The bunker was filled and I mean filled with apples. None of us went in, but we were wondering how you would handle it if you did. You'd have to take an unplayable, but there was no empty sand to drop in so what do you do?

Sounds like a horrible choice in trees for a golf course. Wonder if it was there prior to the course being built? Don't sound like you should be penelized for it. Did you keep some apples?

I'm sure the tree was there first. It's a muni so it's not as though someone would remove the apples. I was curious about how to handle it. Could you move your ball to a bunker on the other side of the green if you called it unplayable?
