I did the same thing as GG. I also hit one into someone's open trunk in the parking lot - they were putting their clubs in to leave.

Well almost the company I use to work for the president and I were playing after work one day and I hit a sand wedge from off the green just a little to hard (under statement according to him LOL) because I got ever bit of that ball and then some. It was a low flyer about mid calf high I have never seen old guy jump as high and move as fast as he did. At least we both got a good laugh.

Never hit anyone, but I almost took out my Area VP once. I was playing in the group behind his and they were out of sight around a dogleg. I hit a drive over the dogleg and a guy in their group told me later that my tee shot flew over their heads to land about 10 yards in front of them. I think he expected me to be concerned, but I was actually feeling pretty good that I outdrove him.

Duck hooked a 3 wood and hit a guy in the shoulder. My buddy once skulled a 6 iron that went through the opening in the back of a cart and hit a guy in the back.

I've hit a cart, never a person. Almost hit myself on a ricochet several times. I gotta learn that I'm probably not going to make it around that tree!

Earlier this year I joined a group of strangers. On one particular hole, they were doing a lot better than I was, and were all on the green, pretty close to the hole, while I was in the bunker. I rushed to my ball and hit a quick sandshot, to catch up. I took a pretty big 'sand-swing' and as I was following the flight of the ball, I noticed that a woman in the group looked quite concerned! She was right behind the flag: I hadn't thought of the worst possible outcome as I hit the shot, but have been a lot more mindful of others in the group since, when in a similar situation .....

Never hit anyone but have been hit in the eyebrow before on an errant drive by someone on an opposing fairway. That required some stitches to fix up. That one hurt a li'l bit.

Before actually taking up the game I was in a corporate tournament with our VP and a couple of co-workers. A tee shot hit the bench they were sitting on but managed to miss all. Not sure what happened there, the bench was almost behind me.
