Default How many have done this
I'm not talking about the first missed short putt. It's the second one while standing on one leg. I have done that more times than I care to think about and now...if it's 3 inches from the hole I set up correct to it.

I've done it from inside a foot. As a matter of fact it seems every round I play someone in the group does that at least once. I saw this one guy who shook his head in disgust that he ran a 12 footer by the hole...about a foot. Like he sinks those all the time. He then did the one legged thing and lipped the 1 footer. He looked like he was getting too much sun almost the instant he did that

I think I have told this story here before, but a friend of mine did that from 6 inches after almost acing the hole. 120 yard PW to 6 inches, walks up and does that and misses the birdie putt.

Poor guy missed out on atlanta because of that and lost a whole lot of money. However he is a class act and took his lumps in an interview right after the round and then signed autographs.
