Default Random question.
I just got back from Myrtle Beach, SC for a golf weekend. That said, how many of you have been to Myrtle Beach for a golf vaca?

How many of you have never heard of Myrtle Beach?

Well I've definitely heard of it. But I have never been there.

Been there with my clubs for a connecting flight to the Bahamas. Saw a few courses from the air. Sadly, I did not have time to golf

Spent 8 days there in May '08 at the Legends Resort. Played Moorland, Oyster Bay, Glen Dornoch, Heritage, Possum Trot, TPC, Barefoot Fazio, & Parkland. Great outing, highly recommended.

I have been traveling to Myrtle beach each year for almost 20 years (sometimes 2 times a year). Play at least 8 rounds of golf each time. I have played many of the courses multiple times.

Traveling there over Labor day for 6 days.

Heard of it, never been there. One of the courses that I often play on plans a Myrtle Beach trip every year in February.
I think it costs something like $1,000 for a 5 days, 4 nights and a round of golf every day.
They always try to hit me up, but during that time of year Im in snowmobiling mode, not golf mode.

About 15 years ago four of us spent 4 days there. It was in early Spring and none of us had hit a ball for probably 3-4 months, prior to leaving. It was enjoyable, but frustrating since our games were so rusty.

Although it was fun, I've got no desire to go back in the near future.

We've been down the last 4 years in April, 4 nights/4 rounds usually runs about $500. We usually get a pretty nice house and play two premium and two regular courses and pick up a round at the par three under the lights while down there.

Me and my buddy played Possum Trot Saturday and Sunday. There's just something we like about that little course. Fun, challenging and not too 'spensive.

Heard of it, get almost daily emails advertising it, haven't gone yet, but I plan on it. Looks great and the prices appear to be pretty reasonable.

Me too. I was told it was one of the original courses in the area; there is a certain nostalgia to it.
