Can anyone please advise of who gives the best english translation/tafsir of the quran in youtube please? I want a lecture with more than just the translation but the background aswell?

P.S. I have finished listening to Sheikh Shady Sulayman's lectures on youtube about the seerah of the prophet pbuh in English. amazing series. I would recommend it to anyone - best english seerah by far

Are there any that are available that are actually audio tafsirs in english?

I have heard about Nouman Ali Khan but didnt have any info about him so I was unsure whether to listen to him or not.

Im not too sure what you mean. The Bayyinah podcast go through a surah, verse by verse and give detailed tafseer of each verse. Many times stopping at particular words to show why Allah SWT has used these words as well as exploring their context, timing, lessons etc.

@Brother Elusive: I would highly recommend them both. They have been instrumental in increasing my level of faith and appreciation of the Qur'aan.
