Default Is it allowed to fast for a person having surgery??
I know some one who will be having surgery at the hospital after Ramadan.

Would it be OK to fast for them on the day of the medical operation?

Or is doing so haram?

Harley Davidson - Made in America - By Americans - With parts from China

So Americans assemble only? I love Harleys. It is better not to fast it is not absolutely necessary to fast after ramadan.

see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEd-5i3HxGE

discusses the fiqh of fasting.

I guess what I was asking: Would my fasting be blessed by Allah (swt) and help the person having the surgery.

I don't want to do something that would be considered bida or haram.

Most everything on a Harley is American made.

But there are a few parts that are made in China. That makes me sick.

If I bought a new Harley. The first thing that I would do is take off any Chinese parts and throw them in the junk pile.

And replace them with good ole made in the USA high quality parts.

True story........
