There is no copyright in Islam, it is entirely batil and simply doesn't exist in Shari'ah.

Please upload for the sake of spreading knowledge.

Jazakallah for sharing

My Hidaya teacher gets us to read the text before he translates. Has anyone got any tips on how to identify what erabs to put on the words as i read or better still, has anyone got a copy of Hidaya with erabs so that i can do muta'la beforehand.

Jazakallah Khair

That is also the view I have come to accept after reading The Majlis' mind-blowing book on why copyrights do not exist.

What is the general view of the hanafis today because I see may Deobandis applying for copyrights on their works. Seems odd in the light of what the Ulame - e - Akabireen have said...

One of my students from Pakistan owns a copy of Al-Hidayah translation by Imran Ahsan Khan. I have asked him to scan both volumes, and send me. But he is still busy. I hope he may be able to send me the scanned copy (PDF) soon. I will upload the files then, InshaAllah for the benefit of students.

That is a lot of pages to scan.

Do you require permission from the translator and publisher to have a Free PDF version of it uploaded?
