Default Al-Hidayah Fi Sharh Bidayat al-Mubtadi in english?
Salam

I am looking for any notes, scanned documents, lectures or downloadable files in english or urdu that could help with my studies on

Al-Hidaya by Burhan al-Din al-Farghani al-Marghinani.

I have only just started the kitaab but it is in Arabic therefore is very difficult to understand....

If there is anything at all to help me please do share.

I am a teenager doing an Islamic Scholarship and am asking for anything to help...

I seen these pictures on a site selling Al-Hidayah : The Guidance : A Classical Manual of Hanafi Law Volume 1 : A Translation of Al-Hidayah Fi Sharh Bidayat al-Mubtadi (Burhan al-Din al-Farghani al-Marghinani, Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee)
http://www.islamicbookstore.com/b8958.html
this book would be ideal if i could get it on my laptop in any format even of it is an audio format

The muqadma is the hardest part so if there are any students or teachers who made personal notes please help...

i am to be tested next week but anything posted after that will help also as i will be studying this book for about a year

Jazakallah...please respond

I would love to help you but I don't know any resources.

But to be able to understand such an amazing and great book - which has its own fame - you have to know Arabic in and out, especially grammar.

I don't think you'll find that English translation anywhere online for free. Aren't there common study resources in Urdu?

Initially I thought to scan this book completely, but due to the translation method used in the book I retracted.

Jazakallah for all the replies,

i am 15 years old and The Arabic Grammar is very hard to learn for me...
Inshallah it will all click into place as i learn...i am very passionate about learning about my deen
Please make Dua that all the students will gain a lot of knowledge and pay attention.

The year in which we were being taught the Arabic language, i wasn't as focussed as i am this year and so i realize now that understanding this year's books would be very easy for me if I tried to understand the earlier years

If there are any books that are relatively similar to the above book then i would really apprecIATE it if u could send me the link.

i am not an earner thus am not able to buy any books...The mosque fees are already quite a struggle.
unfortunately there are no years above me so i cant get any notes from them either.

Jazakallah khair once again to those who replied...

Assalamu Alaikum,

Check this link
http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...audio-lectures

It has sources to other darse nizami books. Fiqh, usool fiqh, grammar, balagha and much more. I'm using them and the teacher is very good ma'sha Allah.

For fiqh, use his Quduri links, in'sha Allah it will help a lot. But if you can go through his Hidayatun Nahw first (which is grammar), it will save you much time in reading more advanced books.

Baji KandiiXThaXShizzle,

I have complete PDF edition of Mukhtasar al-Quduri in English, which is basically somewhat the core text of al-Hidayah. Would it quench your thirst?

By the way, the word "baji" although literally means elder sister, but it is used as a sign of respect when a man addresses a lady especially in Eastern part of Turkey, similar to the word "madam" in English.

I found a thread the other day where you had put a link for the Mukhtasar, but unfortunately the link was dead - could you please reupload it an provide a new link?

Will it not violate copyrights if I do so?

There is no copyright in Islam, it is entirely batil and simply doesn't exist in Shari'ah.

Please upload for the sake of spreading knowledge.

just search the exact words....

" filetypedf mukhtasar al quduri"

in google and click the first link

Note: The bit with the smiley face ( ) is meant to be : and 'p' no space in between

or if that doesnt work go to
http://www.kantakji.com/fiqh/Files/Studies/j112.pdf

or
http://www.4shared.com/file/16319386...ified=6ea128eb

Inshallah this will help
