Default Barelvi Aqeedah
A Barelvi Brother I know On Facebook ( don't start a Debate ) posted a hadith as his status. :
RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam said:
"Indeed this entire world is in front of me so that I can observe everything in it. I can see everything in this world and everything that will take place till the Day of Qiyamah. I see the entire world as I see the palm of my hand".
(Mawahib-e-Ladunnia)

can anyone check this up for authenticity. Jzk.

Very interesting statement, I would also like to know the authenticity of this "hadith" if it can be called one. It seems to go against much of what is in the Quran and indeed the entire message of Islam.

Say, “None in the heavens and the earth has the knowledge of the unseen except Allah.” And they do not know when they will be raised again. (Qur’an 27:65)

Allah (SWT) tells us in the Noble Qur'an that beloved Prophet (PBUH) has only that much knowledge that has been given to him.

The text being cited is a seerah, not a collection of ahadeeth. Furthermore, the ahadeeth that are narrated in this book are referenced to their source (e.g. Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, etc.) but the bid'atis choose to not reveal this aspect.

Moving on, the book is called al-Muwahib al-Ladunniyya bi 'l-minah al-Muhammadiyyah (المواهب اللدنية بالمنح المحمدية) by Imam Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Qastallani. On a bid'ati forum, the reference was to the second volume, which can be accessed here: http://ia700606.us.archive.org/19/it...mwhbldnya2.pdf

But the reference that was provided on the bid'ati forum (Volume 2, page 192) does not appear to be true since there is no such quote on that page in that volume. Maybe they were using a different a publication? Until a scholar steps in, it would require reading through the three books to figure out where this alleged narration is.

Be really wary of unsubstantiated Barelvi claims upon ahadeeth since they themselves don't bother to authenticate the ahadeeth that pertain to the most important aspect of the deen, the aqeedah.

And Allaah gave him the knowledge of the unseen bro. GO AND STUDY ISLAM.
You should take your own advice before jumping on people. The issue here is with Rasoolullah having complete 'ilm al-ghayb, which goes contradictory to the Qur'an and the authentic narrations. Rasoolullah was given some of the ilm al-ghayb but to believe that he knows everything and anything from the beginning of time to the end, to the most small minutae of all creation to have ever existed is shirk.

I think you misread him.
He clearly states that Prophet(PBUH) has only that much knowledge that has been given to him .
We must abstain using capital letters so as to emphasis our statement/opinion.

The statement I made is a repetition of the statement made by a Barelwi elder, who leaves aerially less than a kilometer from my house and by the estimates of university of George Town Islamic Studies Department Survey is the most influential Barelwi in the universe. I shall allow you to do the google search yourself. He made this statement on stage - it might not be there in press. That he is most influential Barelwi, or amongst the top few, is there all over the net.

The statement that I have quoted from Barelwi elder is about the quantification of that Ilm-ul-Ghayb.

Fana means the experience of the separate human self becomes annihilated, and only Allah exists. When this happens the self is gone, dead.

So which one is part of the Barelvi aqeedah:
1) Prophet had all of 'ilm-ul-ghayb
2) Prophet had only some 'ilm-ul-ghayb given to him by Allah (towards the end of his life I believe, correct?)

If #1 is part of their aqeedah, then wouldn't that be shirk?

Yes but he salal lahu alayhi wasalam also was human and did not know everything that would happen, otherwise he would have never lost any battle for example, because all mistakes would hve been known before they occurred.

Suad bin Qarib recited a poem in front of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), "I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. Allah has made you the trustee over all the ghaib. "

[Sirat-un-Nabi and Mukhtasar Sirat ul Rasool, Storey on Swad bin Qariq by Hafidhh ibn Kathir and Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab al Najdi]
