Default Condolences From The Different Countries For The Late Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Saud
Adhan For Zuhr At The End Of Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY6alko-G0I

Please Note Before Commenting: We should not be hasty in speaking against Muslim rulers without having knowledge of its permissibility, and if allowed, the proper reasons and limits in doing so. In all our actions we need to strive to act with wisdom and consider the benefit that will be achieved and whether or not it will lead to greater harm.

This thread is about a Muslim who has passed away and whatever he has done in this life, his affair is with Allaah (swt) who will just him with perfect justice and He alone knows the full details of this person's life. I do not know what we seek to achieve by mentioning such a person's sins on a forum.

Lastly, here are some questions and points to reflect over:

1. Does backbiting a Muslim ruler cause you to sin, be rewarded or neither?

2. Does backbiting a Muslim ruler benefit you in your religion? Does it make you a better Muslim, a bad Muslim or neither?

3. This is the job of scholars to decide to do so or not and when to do so as it is suitable, while laypeople (like ourselves) should observe, look for and be concerned with what will benefit us in this life and hereafter.

here is what i think is happening here

PP was being sarcastic in his first post...pretending to act like a saudi salafi and what their attitudes are to the dead..and using the typical lines some may come out with

some people didnt get that he was being sarcastic and got angry at his statement regarding RasoolAllah

PP now thinks those people who got angry are salafi saudi lovers and are angry because they want to mourn over this prince person

thereafter it all got a bit bollywood and people started pulling out daggers

even if its true, how could one get sarcastic or bring in sarcasm when talking about The Prophet pbuh,

how can we (pro-deoband) of all the people be on the same wavelength with the ghayr muqallid / salafis? is he out of his mind?

He is banned now, so he won't be able to respond until he comes back. Best keep your questions for him until then.

And everyone else, please be civil as well. The next time anyone uses bad language, it will lead to an infraction followed by a ban. One can refute/argue without calling the other various names.

if any one knows the knowledge of the unseen and or allah has revealed to them how he is treating this prince then by all means let us know

otherwise remain silent and have good thoughts about the brother and allahs mercy/judgement to him

the throne of judgement belongs to allah only

You don't need knowledge of the Unseen when newspapers would report this guy's every move and explain how he was fighting the war on terror on behalf of Bush and the rest. You don't need knowledge of the Unseen to know he arrested and tortured mujahideen and Ulema and actively persecuted people from helping those resisting the invasion of Iraq. If someone can post a thread on here about his death, then we can post regarding his deeds in the dunya otherwise what's the point in the thread?

some people forget that all of those rights which belong to your muslim bro/sis equally apply to rulers, if not more so.

As for him arresting "mujahideen", last time I checked he was opposing al qa'ida because they were blowing up infrastucture inside saudi arabia. Who in their right mind is going to complain about being arrested for attacking a country. Why is it that when kuffar arrest muslims for distributing qur'ans, its the fault of the salafis because theya re "chaos" etc etc blah blah, yet when a saudi ruler arrests terrorists who are trying to blow up offices and infrastructure, then all of a sudden its the rulers fault. Quick to attack muslims, quick to defend kuffar, sounds like a dangerous mentality to me

This sounds strange, who faults the salafis for distributing Qurans? The Saudi regime is alligned to America, it is not an Independent country...the Saudis need to do what America tells them if they want to retain their power and wealth. It is that simple, if they went against the wishes of America they would lose. They borught it upon themselves, or rather their great great grandfather did by rebelling against the Ottomon Khalifah. I however pray for them that Allah protects them and gives them Guidence.
