Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

Alhamdulillah, I recently finished my hifdh of Imam Nawawi's Arba'een, having recited it to two teachers. May Allah enable me to act upon these ahadith ameen.

I had a question for the tullabul 'ilm on this forum: Is there any specific technique you use in retaining hadith? Alhamdulillah, I find remembering the matn of the hadith very easy but find remembering the method of narration (e.g. anna rasulullah vs. qala rasulullah etc.) quite hard.

Any tips will be much appreciated. My teachers said that the best way to do it is to teach other people. But I don't think I am sufficiently qualified to go into that.
