Default work and salat issue
As salaamu 'aleykum,

My husband is unemployed at the moment and he got offered a job, however the employer (muslim) said he canonly have alternate jumu'ah salaah break i.e. 2 jumu'ah he will have to qadhaa so that another employee get them 2 jumu'ah. By the way he will be allowed to pray rest of the salaah on teh premises, they have wudhu and musallah/space facility. Obviously hearing this I was gobsmacked even found it shocking that my husband would even dare do mashwerah with me abt it knowing very well that I won't allow it i am very sure my husband too is not happy abt it, but being unemployed for few weeks now hes desperate.

So anyways he requested teh employer if the employer guarantees all jumu'ah salaah then he is willing to work over time UNPAID, he also gave the employer an option of cutting half day wages on fridays but employer isn't buying any of it and hes reluctant saying 'its not fair on other employee'.

khayr, now my husband is worried cos apart from household expenses, he has to contribute in an upcoming weddings of my 3 cousins-in-laws next month in'sha'Allaah.

My husband is ma sha Allaah a great man and he doesn't get upset or angry easily, but during this discussion I said coupla things wrongly worded which I think has hurt him 1. I clearly told him that I won't even touch such income that is earned by missing fardh salat (maybe i was too straight forward cos I know this has hurt him). 2. I am surprised the you have an audacity to even consider or giving sucha job a second thought, if there was someone-else at your place, they would have rejected it at the first stance.

I know I shouldn't have been so blunt and i regret it, i have even apologised him for this but as i said hes maa shaa Allaah man who don't show anger or hes foul reaction thus i am not sure if he has forgiven me for my mistake

Please help me, bi'idhnillaah.
