Can someone please provide a reference and authenticity of the hadith attributed to the Prophet (saw) which says: "An hour spent in thought is better than a year spent in worship."

Isn't there a Hadeeth close to that meaning.

Anyway's brother I think you might find this Hadeeth in Muntakhab Ahaadeeth kitaab.

as long as i know its statement of ulama but no hadith as mentioned in Mulla ali qaris al athrar.

In Muntakhab ahadith there might be same type of hadith present.

I still haven't come across the reference yet. I don't have a copy of the book mentioned but I found it online and tried to search it but nothing came up.

Does anyone know the direct source of this quote whether it be from a hadith or a scholar?
