I would say if this schedule is temporary than it's probably ok for now. But if this is your "normal"... you really need to find a more nutritious alternative. Bagged salads are super easy (toss in some grape tomatoes and you have a basic McD salad right there). Precook chicken, burgers, steak, pork loin... it takes no time. I cooked up a package of drumsticks last night after I got home late. Set oven to 375*, dump chicken parts into a baking pan, put in oven 1+ hours... done. Seriously, it's that simple. Pork loin and oven roasts can be done the same way... just cook it way less so it doesn't dry out. There you have it. Salad and meat, just what you're eating at McD... but SO MUCH BETTER for you. And you don't have to go there to get it. Or pay for it. For what you're shelling out at McD for lunches, you could probably spend on you entire weekly food bill. The key is better planning... and a way different mindset about food. Think about what it does for your body first... and how it will help you reach your weight loss and health goals. Make it convenient to do. Plan plan plan. Precook. Pre-package. Get a bunch of cheap plastic containers and plastic forks. I've even used ziplock bags for my meat and salad meals (no dishes!!!). Put your dressing in a snack baggie and BAM... lunch with nothing to clean up later. You'll save a ton of $ and your body will thank you. You need better nutrition than McD crap, esp with your work schedule!
