Default sweet coffee craving over!
It has only been 2 days and 6 cups of coffee but i think i can actually do it (go sweetner free) i actually did not even notice that my coffee was splenda free today until i finished it, i really hope i can continue with this as i was having at least 6-8 carbs a day in splenda, what a waste! I am also cutting out diet drinks and swapping for sparkling water. I did not drink loads of fizzy pop but i didnt count the carbs in them and i am sure it would have all mounted up between that and coffee to almost half my carb intake on induction! i will weigh myself in a week and see if it makes a difference.

Wtg Tracey!! You will see a big difference. I stopped drinking any type of pop and havent touched it since Sept!. All I drink now is tea. All flavors. Dont even miss the pop now. Good luck.

I'm putting a small amount of milk in my coffee. Think this is ok? No sugar of course. I luckily never had that habit. But I love coffee and drink lots of it.

Tracy, I hope you do have a flush and start down again..... Fingers crossed!

Mirage, If you are on low carb, you could be using heavy whipping cream and it is better than milk in carb count and taste!

i used to water down cream to make it more "milky" now i dont bother, best to avoid milk if you can Mirage. try lactofree that has very little carbs.

Arlene, i would love to see a few pounds off, i have got away with a lot on this woe and not put on anything so have been managing to stay stable for ages but its time to knuckle down now!

Well, although I do love my Tasty-Free, I must admit I was shocked to find that I, too, can go without any sweetener in my coffee. But it only appeals to me when I *always* leave out the sweetener. The first few days don't taste so great... apparently you're the same way.

I still sweeten mine though.

I probably will stop drinking the soda again someday. I did go years without it. Not sure why I started drinking it again. I suppose I wanted to throw some money away :^)

LOL Tony... I will keep my soda, ususally only one a day. It is refreshing and look at it as a treat.
