that was last weekend and i have been a model l/carber since!
its the first time i ate all that stuff in ages and felt awful, glad to be back on track now though. You allow a cheat day every weekend? and you are still losing? your very lucky, it takes my body a good few days to rid the carbs before i start burning any fat, of course you are doing loads of training which helps!
i agree once you get into it, it does not feel like your on a diet. well done with your progress

Well you are lucky Janik! I agree with Tracy......and carb cheats and it takes forever for me to get back to it. I seem to be able to get away with a couple of rye and waters a week without any problem but I try to avoid that because 2 leads to 3 with me LOL. Besides...I am on a mission! I also feel really lousy if I get into any carbs which is the whole point of making this my new lifestyle I guess!

Hey what is your weigh in day Tracy?

Cheers

Default Day 2 1/2 of carb crazy junk fest!
A horrible monster has invaded my body and is forcing me to eat pies!
no, seriously, i am in trouble, i foolishly had some carby rubbish to eat the other day and its snowballed big time. I have been sticking to l/c for 5 months with absolutely no sugar or starch in that time, but that piece of toast i had 2 1/2 days ago has set me on a path that i cant seem to get off of, i mean really stupid stuff like meat pies and chocolate bars, chips alcohol.. there is nothing i wont eat, i am being very greedy too, even if i am not hungry i am still eating! it needs to stop but not sure how to limit the damage, should i go straight to induction or just try and eat veggies for a day then induction?, i am worried that all those carbs will stick like glue if i go straight on to fat/protien.
I cant believe that i have done this to myself, i feel awful, my stomach is like a football and i am really tired too. Lesson learned

Hi, Allie,

i dont have a weigh in day any more as i was getting a bit obsessive about the scales and weight (which seemed to be different all the time) and the ketostix which i was using about 5 times a day. i have now stopped all that. my weight is coming off quite slowly but i dont mind. i will jump on the scales every few weeks and it is then guaranteed to be a loss. even if its just 1lb. this way works for me as i want my woe to fit in with and not take over my life. Apart fom my hiccup last weekend i am managing really well and it is very easy for me to rustle up a few days dinners without too much thought. it all comes naturally after a while which is great.
i will weigh myself today to see if i have lost the 4lb i put on when eating junk last weekend.

hi allie, i think im less lucky and more aware than most of how fat loss is actually achived lol. any diet keto/carb cycling/low fat etc means nothing as far as losing fat goes imo 'cals in vs cals out' is what matters ketosis is just a more effective way for the body to burn the fat(doesnt mean we lose more in ketosis). well done on the lifestyle change and hope its all going well

tracy well done
