They both work well,,,, and it really depends on your personality to which one you choose. I'm a serious atkins person that takes it to the extremes sometimes. However, I have in the past, when on maintanence, intigrated a lot of the SB ideas.
The biggest thing is Atkins restricts carbs and not fat,,, where as,,, SB will teach you to find healthy fats and healthy carbs so that your diet has a few more options. Personally, "I" don't lose weight on SB. My sister did, but regained it because she got sloppy with her menus. My mom did too, for the same reason and they just quit. Atkins on the other hand, is a straight line, without having to know a ton of information. It's truly up to your personality type and your ability to stick with a program. |
