Default Bike and weights,, been awhile!
Wow,,

well, all,,

as you may have heard my frantic ravings about my son needing to be homeschooled now.. it is finally official. Well, they say he has to have a physical fitness component. he he

and who else as his teacher??

ME

So, I put his butt on the bike today, and we rode to the gym lol...

and then I had him do a full upper body circuit,, 3 sets, each muscle group.. 10 reps.. lol... very light weights ofcourse..

then,, I made him ride his bike back home..bwahahahaha..

Geez.. I can't tell you how good it felt!!

well, the weight lifting does have to be suspended...but it will be important once the cast comes off! He will have to work ot get his arm muscles back into shape.

Wow, I dread having a son! Mine is only 8, so he's just entering the "danger" phase (altho, we have had several ER trips, nothing as bad as 2 broken arms!).

I hope he's feeling ok.

Yeah it really was great..

and then later in the afternoon, while I was cooking dinner, and cleaning house, my son and daughter went back outside to play and ride bikes.

this lead me to spending 4 hours in the emergency room.

after all of this, my son was doing "tricks" and crashed.

now, his left arm is broke,, both bones, clean cut, straight through.

So, my plans for him, and his workouts,, well, they just went down the drain. After a little while, he will still be able to ride his bike with his cast.. but he won't be weight lifting,, or swimming,, or a lot of other stuff..

So, other than bike riding and walking, does anybody have any idea what I can do with him,,, as fitness??? with a cast???
