I did yoga for many years. The "Hatha" or physical yoga is only part of the experience. Yoga is excellent meditation and can help in our diet once one understands its use. Meditation is one of the elements in helping to build new habits and desires. The "Hatha" is only one of the means to the end. Simply doing the exercises without proper meditation would seem hollow to me.
