Default How Stupid of Me
To think I would only have poison ivy on my hands and one spot on my knee...

Didn't I know I would have to get it up my arm, under my boobs, on my stomach and in my pants???

Oh yeah - it's official. I have it EVERYWHERE!!!!

I remember working out in the yard last year and getting this in most of the exact same places. I am NEVER doing yard work again. I love yard work - even in this heat, but it's not worth two weeks of a raised painful itchy rash.

Some one come peel my skin off so I can feel better

Really though - anyone know of anything that really helps? I've been using Aveeno anti-itch stuff and I think that's the best over the counter stuff so far - do yall know of anything a doctor could prescribe me?

Edit - I found my thread from last year! http://offtopicz.com/showthread.php?...ght=poison+ivy

So I'm not allergic to what I thought was poison ivy, but I'm allergic to SOMETHING out there.

I know I'm not allergic to the poison ivy that's in my yard because I pick it out my flower beds all the time and nothing happens.

It's only when I rake and mow in the summer that I break out.

Uh huh, sure it happened when you were "mowing".

You could try benadryl, that usually works well. You could always go to the doc and get a steroid shot, which would clear it up in a matter of hours.

I went to the doctor today - I got two steroid shots, some cream and he says Zyrtec because it's a nondrowsy Benadryl.

I'm on my way. Thank god because it has cropped up on my face!
