Default This is what I'm doing tomorrow night...
I hope I don't die...or look like the girl on the right side of the frame in the white shirt. Oh God, I hope I have more rhythm than that, LOL

The steps in this video are almost like Zumba- the Latin inspired dance fitness craze. However, the music is quite different. If you are quite concerned about being more within the rhythm than that girl in that white shirt. Maybe initally, it would feel like that and like every newbie at this kind of dance excercise, you'll be more after being able to follow the right steps than being within rhythm. Every beginner does that....I know as i was 'sort of' like that the first day @ Zumba. After a while, you'll get comfortable with the steps and be shaking everything and am sure you'll catch up and dance like everyone does in class

Hope you enjoy it as it is a lot of FUN doing dance exercises . It's like a party out there being away from the routines of conventional non-dance aerobics /exercise

I didn't die...yay!!! It was quite a workout, though. There was some latin in there, but a lot of it was hip-hop which I like better anyway. I enjoyed it...will definitely go back on the nights I'm off. I totally felt like that girl in the white shirt, for sure!!! I eventually got it, though.

LOL...I didn't even notice the gray MC Hammer looking pants. Too funny.

Well the great thing about it is that you don't HAVE to keep up w/ the instructor. We were told tonight that if there was a particular move we couldn't do or couldn't keep up w/ then just be sure to keep our feet moving in order to keep our heart rate up. I was more worried about my mom than me b/c she has a lot of knee problems...but she did a good job keeping up, even though she was the oldest one in the class. The chick next to me was phenomenal...I need to learn some dance moves from her, LOL

I don't reckon it would work for me to tell you to imagine you're dancing in your room, huh???

Yeah that' the trick as they can't expect everyone to be able to keep up with the steps right away especially the beginners. Great to hear you enjoyed it

Am pretty sure you can keep up @ the comforts of your own home. I did that. Went to 10 classes of Zumba and bought the DVD. I am much more confortable doing it at home where I can dance/excercise like crazy and no one can criticize me

Besides, you don't even have to go to classes and the steps are easy to learn. Trust me am not a very good dancer either. But i tried

So C'mon Zirc I challenge you to it !! Actually OTz dares you to do eeetttttt

I do Zumba 4 times a week with these guys (above)...AND I ABSOLUTELY BLOODY LOVE IT!!!!

Ive never enjoyed doing fitness more than I do now and I burn about 740 calories per hour which is a hell of alot more than I would going to the gym for an hour.

Heres some more:
