Why in the hell did I read this thread? Uggggghhhhhhh....... and just before I go to bed.

I suppose I'd better prepare myself for some spider dreams at this point.

I'm leaving the lamp on tonight.

I'd forgotten about this thread. That guy must have died because I don't think he's been back here. RIP.

Yes. Yes I'm sure he is dead. I know that if a spider were to bite me and I had to even think about going to the hospital..... I would die just from thinking about a spider even crawling anywhere upon my body and taking a nip off of me.

Yes. I most likely wouldn't even be able to get on line and make a thread and post about the trauma and my ensuing death.

Actually..... If a freakin' spider tried to sneak up on me and even set one of its little feet upon me.... and then it bit me.....!!!!!!!!!!! This house would be torn from floor to ceiling and poison would be abundantly sprayed until not a living thing would survive. I would take out the freakin' spider and his whole or her whole damn family.

I do not mess around when it comes to spiders. Period.

Have I mentioned elsewhere about the wall repairs I've had to do because of tossing chairs and books and shoes at spiders? I only resort to that when hubby isn't there to take care of it for me. He prefers to be there for me..... over the repairs. My hero.

Default Spider Bite
So about an hour and a half ago, I was bitten by some wierd spider. Gave me a moderate "high" as best as I can describe it. I lost a connection to reality, my body was numb, and apparently my motor skills and speech was slurred and slowed. Well, I was taken to a hospital clinic, though there is nothing they could do. I did not expect much, I was just double checking that I was fine, maybe irregularities...but none. Never less, I am still feeling a bit off, numb, but I will be alright. Was not a Black Widow, just some...odd spider with yellow patterns on it's abdomen.

Curious, any suggestions to get better? I am drinking water, laying down watching Zombie land, but I was not recommended to any antibiotics. All I would like to know is if anyone knows of any home remedies to ease my condition.

Just drink a lot of water and wait for your body to flush it out.

Apparently you did not read and understand. They could not do much since it was not severe enough. (bull***)

Yup. You're going to die.
That or stop doing drugs so you don't look stupid when you end up in the hospital for hallucinating and saying it was from a spider.

I did read and understand the post. To me it's obvious he didn't axe the medical staff if there was anything he could do because he's axing the question here. I'm thinking he was bitten by a rattlesnake.

Did watching Zombie land help?

Even in this post you say " They could not do much since it was not severe enough. " That indicates you may have asked them what could be done.

ffs ... even you don't know what the hell you wrote because if you did you wouldn't be asking the question here. Go back and read it again and tell me if you forgot to ask them if there were any home remedies to assist in relieving your minor symptoms.

What remains now is to try and determine if you did or did not ask them about home remedies. If you did why are you asking it here? If you didn't... wtf not?

If you're still alive now (day after), I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you'll be fine. Call out sick from work. Maybe some lingering neurological after-effects. If it was a Brown Recluse, you're fucked (actually, you'd already be dead).

BTW IF this is actually true it sounds like a HOBO spider did it. Get some antibiotic ointment and put it on the wound and take some anti inflammation med if there is any swelling around the bite area.

I'm surprised no one has posted a spider pic in here yet. Having said that, I'm never reading this thread again because I'm sure someone will now.
