Default *falls over and dies*
I went for a really short, maybe 2 mile at absolute most (rounded up), bike ride this morning. And now I am nearly dead, granted it was moderatley hilly terrain - but still it shouldn't have killed me like it did.

I shouldn't be so surprised really, I know I'm not very fit. But that will change soon enough.

I'll be on the bike every morning until I rediscover some part of my past fitness. Or I die, whichever happens first.

Oh, and to put it in some sort of perspective - I once ran a 5 minute mile, and that's a little short for my optimum distance. Now I don't think I could even finish.

...wait until your crotch hurts too....

NO seriously.... but I do hope your crotch doesn't have the bike butt pain that we all feel the first couple of rides until our butt is 'conditioned'.

WOw...5 minute mile!

Whats got you into a fitness routine again?

I remember my first grappling tournament, by the time my final match came around I was so exhausted I could barely move, I still managed to submit the guy though, you just gotta keep going through the pain and exhaustion, don't give up when it gets hard, your ass will be back in shape in no time.
