Dr Simeons clearly said that the hormone can effectively be injected for 40 days without immunity issues, so what would the point of those 'skip' days be, if not to add additional VLCD to a round? The number, '40' has to do with the maximum number of injections you can do. Whether you do them in 40 days, or 46 days, is entirely up to you.

I am finishing up my 2nd round, & I did 'skip days' this time. I didn't lose a single ounce more than when I did the injections consecutively in R1.

Until I have as much experience with doing the protocol as Beth_M, I will defer to her. Also, shervision, I would advise being very, very careful before accusing anyone, especially a moderator of spreading misinformation.
