Its not the corporations per se....it's our political system. Drug manufacturers are forbidden from giving me a pen to use in my practice, because I am so gullible that the pen could influence me to use their drug more often. BUT it's fine if the same drug company gives 10 million dollars to a senators reelection campaign because the senator is -above- any influence from said 10 million dollars.....ahem.....need I say more? The drug companies are simply following the rules laid out by our elected officials. Have you ever heard of a senator, or representative leaving office NOT a millionaire? Ever wonder how this happens on their salary? . I'm not saying drug companies are saints....but you need to look at the real culprits.
