Default Lost My Bac Water...
Is there anyone who can cut thru the chase for me... I tried to go to Bob, reliable rx, Imed, and I am more confused than ever.

I want to get the sodium chloride for injection and mixing with the hcg in a small volume... which site will offer the most cost effective and where I can order both of them in one delivery? Does anyone have this down?

OK, I know I may be crawling out on an unpopular limb here, but straight normal saline has NO preservative in it. In hospitals, the vial is only good for 24 hours at most after punctured. Bacteriostatic water at least has a small amount of alcohol in it to prevent organism growth. When we mix drugs in a hospital, we are indifferent between BS water and normal saline. Some drugs require D5W, which is differnt entirely. But I think we may be splitting hairs and possibly risking infectin by trying to eliminate BS water. Barb

I agree Barb,

Bacteriostatic water or Sodium Chloride should be the ONLY solutions mixed with HCG.

0.9% benzl alcohol is added to both and needs to be in there.

If you want Sodium Chloride to do an experiment/test on mixing with a little HCG it can be found online even amazon I believe has it along with many other sites.
Just find a $2--5 bottle somewhere that is way more than you ever would need.

HAPPY WEIGHT LOSS.-)

Woa!!! Wait a minute here! It is very important to distinguish between the 2 to 5 dollar bottles of sodium chloride on Amazon which is for IRRIGATION and the bottles of sodium chloride that cost much more that are for INJECTION!!!!! Please note everyrone these are not the same thing!!!! You cannot inject the sodium chloride that is packaged for wound irrigation!!!!! Make sure what ever you purchase is designed for INJECTION or else you are setting yourself up for a major infection!!!! Barb

ILuveKats, I just checked amazon and they don't have the sodium chloride for injection I thought they might have some but was wrong. I have seen them online for $2--9 range for a small amount compared to what a hospital uses way more than necessary for HCG mixing. I'll do a quick search and post a few links.

I would think everyone knows the difference between 0.9 % benzl alcohol solution with 0.9% sodium chloride for injection Versus those for irrigation. It will say they are for injection in the description. The bottles must be sterile and preferably with rubber stoppers unless you have other sterilized equipment.

Here's a quick example of a 100ML bag for $5.99
http://www.medicalmailorder.com/browseproducts/Sodium-Chloride-for-Injection--0.9---100mL-Bag.HTML

You will want to get it in a vial/container with rubber stopper for easy syringe upload access, getting offline now but will search around some more for the best deal when back online.

Cheers!

p.s. Quick note: most of the suppliers like Baxter/affordable drugs that sell Sodium Chloride have larger quantities way more than you need that is why the price is much higher, it's not as common to find smaller bottles of Sodium Chloride as it is bacteriostatic water so disregard the high prices online and keep looking for a smaller bottle that is acceptable for injection at a better price.

Baxter website: http://www.ecomm.baxter.com/ecatalog/browseCatalog.do?lid=10001&hid=10001&cid=10016&key =747f11748c59b5dfbd5329cace1dfca

Yesman, I have seen RN's in a hospital make that mistake, so i do not assume anything anymore!! I understand what you are saying, but we need to be very careful and take into account the medical knowledge of people reading our posts. Unfortunately the bottles are labelled very similarly, both say sodium choride 0.9%. It is only if you read the fine print that you will see the difference. Since alot of people here are trying to mix on their own and don't have medical training, i think it is necessary to spell things out very clearly.

Thanks for all the very important discussions on this matter. I think I may not be the only one interested in using the SC for injection. But I recieved my order of 0.9% states on the plastic vial not for injection, preservatie-free, non-pyrogenic, no bacteriostatic agent. So it will get thrown out. On the sales sites it was hard to figure out because Imed where i ordered does not say for injection. So Does anyone believe there is an advantage in using SC vrs Bac water? I guess I just want the most from my investment and diet. Stalling and hunger make the most of the fat loss... Maybe I am just impatient and think the grass is greener on the other side. Again love you gals and the info you come up with is tremendous!

"i think it is necessary to spell things out very clearly. "

Barb I agree,

Krzz, if I were you I would just use the bacteriostatic water. It will mix the same as Sodium Chloride.

I wouldn't recommend mixing for more than 2 weeks at a time so preferably purchasing ampules of 1000iu or 1,500iu is the best way to go so your not mixing for more than 15 days.

Bacteriostatic water is what I am using, I only mix for 1 week at a time now.

I have a pharmacist who is going to find a way to divide an ampule so I can mix daily or for 3 days at a time but still working out the details on that.

So my advice would be stick with what you already have the bacteriostatic water and when you purchase HCG in the future purchase the small amps 1000--1,500iu or even 2000iu, your choice.-)

Best of luck,
Kristen

Kristen,
Have you stopped using the sodium chloride? Why?
I found , oddly, that there is no sting with the sodium choride as with the bac water.

Kristen, glad yesman and I could help. I am using hcg provided by a clinic and they mix with bacteriostatic water. I am currently on phase 3 after one round of 60 days I lost 39 pounds. (Yea!!!! )))) ). I am doing one short round in July to lose the last 10 or 15. I didn't have very much trouble with hunger after the first week. I kept all my syringes in the freezer and took out a week at a time. There are various opinions on keeping the medication in the freezer, but I had already done it by the time I read them. It seemed to work for me! Oh, and 2 weeks into phase three, I am at my LIW with only one steak day. Hang in there!!!! It does work!!

cheeta, its usually the alcohol on the skin that stings when the needle goes through it. Are you letting it dry completely before injecting? That may help.

I'm a newbie here and there is so much to take in. I may have bought the wrong qty (5000iu) to start with. At the mo I'm looking to buy a 50 day mixing set (just to have some on standby). Not many websites send to new Zealand. So I have one of my sisters who will forward it onto me.

I know I'll be needing help with mixing. So many things to think about. First thing I need to know which is better for me to buy Bacteriostatic water 30ml or the Bacteriostatic water with 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection 30ml? How long does 30ml last for? 23days, 43days?

Any help from u I'd be so thankful for!

Ps: I'm still waiting on the hcog/hcg 5000iu to arrive in mail.
