Default New to hcg, need help, please read :)
I bought a 43 day im pro pack from whenhealthmatters.com for 330$ total, the site suggest on the admins post. they are injections.

What do i need to buy, as in supplements? I have no health problems, i am 21 and 5 10, 250 currently and was 280.

How do i do the shots, do i inject them anywhere? Never used needles.

Can i take a protien shake in the morning as long as i stay under 500 calories. I have tried it for a couple days, it is possible, and stay in the protocol with the exception of the shake. i need 70 grams of protein, so even with the shake ill barely make it.

Does the injections come with diet information? as in a list of what to eat?

Please give me tips, suggestions, ect ect.

You cannot "try" the program without hcg.... no comparison. 500cal is not good without it, and absolutely no problem when injecting. Please read the protocol: http://hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Simeon...and-Inches.htm

You inject subcutaneous in the belly fat, usually.

Stay away from shakes, stick to the allowed foods. I never needed supplements, though I did magnesium in between if I got cramps. And l-glutamine in the very beginning when detoxing from sugar. But no supplements are required on the protocol.

I take potassium and magnesium on P2. They helped me a lot with weakness and constipation. But no supplements are required.

It is required that you follow the food plan in Pounds & Inches. This isn't just a 500 calorie diet. The 500 calories must come from some very specific foods. Protein shakes are not one of those foods.

If your injections came with diet information, ignore it and follow the info in P&I. I don't know why you need 70 grams of protein. On this plan, you'll be eating two 3.5 oz servings of protein. That'll get you a little over 40 grams of protein. Some people choose to skip their fruit and eat a little more protein.

I am a male, i dont want to lose muscle, to maintain current muscular system i need a min of 70 grams of protein a day, and i tried the DIET to see if it was possible to do. Injecting oneself with hormones isnt a diet

If i dont do the protein sup i will get 40 grams of protein, not enough to repair muscle :P

Again, i am a male.

You are correct. Injecting yourself with hormones is not a diet. The HCG 'diet' Protocol is a hormone therapy for obesity. This is one of the reasons that it is imperative that one follow the Pounds and Inches protocol exactly in order to be successful. I have witnessed many folks who tried to do this with an "it's a diet" mentality who were not successful. So, in order to truly be successful, the protocol needs to be followed exactly as outlined in Pounds and Inches.

All that being said, it is dangerous to put yourself on a 500 calorie per day starvation diet. 500 calories is not enough to sustain you, especially being a male. And, even though you would loose weight on 500 calories per day, you would not be able to maintain the weight loss once you begin to eat normally.

HCG makes your body's own fat available to make up any metabolic calorie deficit you would have while on 500 calories. Without that mechanism, you are asking for trouble.

thank you thank you, i purchased the 50 day supply i need to lose 60 lbs, i was told i can develop an immunity to hcg. Is that ok, since most likely 50 days would get me close enough to my healthy weight.

Also i got the sq injections, do i have to worry about expiration? do i put in the refrigerator, or something? lol, i look over the net, and so many differ thoughts.

You can't lose 60 pounds at one time. 34 pounds is the upper limit unless you are quite obese which you aren't. So you will need to do 2 rounds. Keep it in the fridge and it will last at least a year unmixed though.

Ill do 2 phases then. Loading day is important? even if i am already consuming plenty of calories and fat? and do i do hcg on the loading days, some say you dont have to and others say you start the day of the loading phase.

so 23 days, then 6 weeks of phase 3 and 4 and then back on phase 1 and 2?

Yeah, it is 43 days or 34 pounds, whatever comes first.

I actually have enough HCG for 4-5 rounds in my fridge... rather ordered it all in one go, only tempting fate (and customs) once...

Loading is tremendously important. It starts the leptin signaling process to lose weight. If you skip that, you don't get the same benefit. You might also read Hcg Weight loss apocalypse by Robin Woodall.

So 34 lbs, phase 3 for 3 weeks then 4 for 3 more weeks and then back to phase 1 and 2? I am on several forums, some contradicting. Rather listen to the forum admins :P

Yes, a minimum of 6 weeks between rounds. Make sure you read Pounds and Inches. You don't want to listen to anyone--even me--without knowing the protocol for yourself. Otherwise the weight may not stay gone.

LOL! you'll be fine. you're taking a minuscule amount of hcg. If you've just lost 30 pounds, I would wait a few weeks before starting hcg. YOur liver needs a chance to recover and so does your skin.

I am ok with extra skin, prior to this i lost 80lbs, no extra skin, prior meaning about a year and a half ago on the same vlcd >< lol but i went back to eating the house and gained it back in 6 months. was a fun 6 months :P

What supplements do you take? i know one told me not to take supplements, and the protocol doesnt list any, but some say b complex, potassium, superfood, hoodia, green tea pill, i understand sticking to the protocol, but i want to be healthy too

I take currently, multi vit, superfood, green coffee extract and raspberry ketones and fiber, but that was for my 800 cal doc prescribed diet.

I don't take anything. Nothing is really needed. You might need potassium if you drink too much water but other than that, you're good. It's not just the extra skin. your liver needs a break from processing all the toxins from the released fat.
