Default Diet Doc Rx HCG Protocol. What's your take?
I saw a website with their information, so I gave them a call. They do not follow the Dr. Simeon protocol. Here was their protocol.

2 months supply of HCG tablets or injections
6 days "on" HCG and 1 day off for 2 months
750 to 1000 calorie diet, to avoid side effects (that's what they claimed). I assume side effects here would be hair loss and other things.
Their menu was pretty much the same as the 500 calorie protocol, except more protein and included "HCG diet shakes".

A medical doctor or nurse calls you once a week to check up on things.

Anybody try these guys out? I never heard of this style of protocol before. Does it seem legit?

Thanks!

and they want how many hundreds of $?

of course, they want you to lose weight slower.. that way you buy more. They also want you to buy their products, ie shakes and supplements and they increase the calories a bit to make it "easier to swallow".

YEah it's about $500 for 2 months, and $200 for months after that.

I can do a 40 day round of injections complete with supplies for about $70.

Clinics obviously want to make money. So they supposedly "improve" the protocol to have a USP, a unique selling point. Since it is mainly newbies turning to clinics, it is way easier selling a calorie amount that is more or less acceptable, with a complete disregard how the program actually works.

Most of us are happy to do it on our own, and the forums rock with tried and true info and help.

I was looking for a clinic, but they wanted $2000 per round. Yeah right. I am now paying app. $50 a round, for hcg and supplies. But for that, I had to accept the risk of losing my shipment to customs, or getting fake or weak hcg. I was lucky, though... And willing to take that risk, I was that desperate.

Well, you order Rx HCG, then mix yourself... Most seem to buy from Escrow or Reliable, just google?

If you're more comfortable going through a clinic, you can use them for the hcg injections. Skipping a day each week is fine. But I'd follow Dr. Simeons diet and restrictions on length of a round, not the one the clinic suggests. And find out how much hcg they are injecting. If the dose is too high, find out if they will lower it to the proper dose for you.
