What about grating the melba toast into crumbs and adding that to your smoothie with cinnamon and nutmeg spices? if you want to have your vegetable at a different hour of the day.
I am just starting the diet for the first round and I am planning on experimenting with some apple smoothies as well. I like spinach more than lettuce for eating, but in a smoothie I have found iceburg lettuce gives off a less powerful flavor. Also baking the apples first if you are not trying to adhere to RAW standanards might intensify the apple flavor. |
