Default Higher injection dose more prone to immunity?
My clinic is starting me at 200iu for injections. However, I thought I heard other people taking 150 or 175iu. If my dose is higher, does that mean immunity could set in sooner? Anyone know? I'm so grateful for this forum. Thanks.

Just follow what your clinic is doing. If you're having hunger problems or something- then worry about adjusting the dosage. Nobody on here is a Doctor that is qualified to tell you what your dosage should be- that's why you are going to a clinic =)

I don't think immunity will set in sooner. Just skip an injection each week and follow the protocol for the allowed length of a round. Immunity shouldn't be any problem at all. I do think you're more likely to be hungry. Or perhaps more likely that the protocol won't work for you or you'll lose the wrong type of fat.

Unfortunately the person I saw at the clinic was not a Dr nor seemed qualified, and they give everyone the same dosage of 200. So, I'm not sure how to determine what would be the right dosage for me. Thanks.

So, how would I know if I was losing the wrong type of fat?

When I first started on here 3 plus years ago, my clinic was giving me 150 iu, and everyone on here was taking 200 iu...now it seems most have come around to the 150 to 175 range. I haven't seen immunity actually occur either....regardless of the dose. I agree with the above poster, start out following your clinics dosage and see how you do....don't worry about immunity or losing the wrong type of fat....that won't happen right out of the gate with a round.

I would not start out at 200 iu. I know very few people who does well on that high of a dose. I would start at 150. 3 1/2 years ago 200 was the standard dose then things suddenly changed when the hcg was reformulated. Hardly anyone could take that much without a lot of hunger. I was one of them so I know how miserable it is to be on a dose that's too high. It's worse than one that's too low. You won't have issues with immunity at that high dose, but you are likely to have hunger which means you're losing the wrong kind of fat and are likely to regain the weight.

My two cents.

Thanks grammy. If I were to drop my dosage down to 175, could I just let some out of the syringe? From the looks of it, all the syringes are at 0.2 and I'm not sure how to get it to 175, I would assume letting some out until it looks like 25% less? My clinic is almost an hour away from me, so I'd prefer to just adjust the dosage myself if need be. In fear of losing the wrong type of fat or regaining, as some of you say, I'd rather start at a lower dosage. Thanks for your help.

Even 175 is likely too high, selah. I would just squirt some out. How many units are in your syringe?

Forgive my ignorance Grammy. On one side of the syringe it looks like the liquid is at 2.75, on the other side it says 0.2. Not sure which side of the syringe measures the units.

Also, I got to thinking is it possible the clinic has more percentage of saline solution mixed with the hcg to appear as more in the syringe - though the dose may be less? I hope that makes sense. thanks again

It's probably .2 which equals 200 iu. That's a common mix from a doctor's office. They mix it with very little saline. Most of us here would have 40 units equaling 200 iu, not 20 units which is what .2 is. So I would squirt it out so it's at 15 units, halfway between the .1 and the .2. Good luck!
