Monk fruit extract?
Ok so, I wrote a "suggestion" e-mail to Walden farms, kind of admonishing them for their use of Splenda in their products, and I got a very interesting response which I will share below: Good Afternoon, Thank you for your e-mail inquiry. Please note that we may start using Purefruit (later next year) as our sweetener. For additional information regarding Purefruit, please visit www.purefruit.com. Thank you, Customer Service Walden Farms, Inc. Calorie Free Specialties Anyone have any thoughts about this? I've not heard of it before....doing a bit of reading on it now, just curious if any hcg'rs have experience or previous insight, I'm guessing it'll not be great for P2 but in lifestyle maintenance etc it could be a good thing. |

In the years of trying everything under the sun to lose weight, I was a fan of a few Walden products. But with hcg, came many epiphanies. Not the least of those was that the closer to the ground I eat, the more stable I am and the happier my body is overall. I avoid any mystery food (phake phood) and that includes the Walden line. My body does a whole lot better on real oil, real seasonings, real ANYTHING. I think I made the switch during my R2 P2 whenI realized plain food actually tasted pretty darn good.
I haven't heard of purefruit, and I will check it out. But the rest of the ingredients on the Walden bottles sound like a chemestry exam, so I don't buy it. |
