Default Insulin resistance and HCG - 1 fruit only per day?
So I read the follwing on another forum:

My mother also did the diet, but at first had a really hard time losing, and we think it's because she's diabetic, so we changed her daily intake from 2 fruits to one fruit, and added one veggie, then her daily weight loss doubled. I encourage everyone willing to go on a mission for just one month, to try the hcg diet. Yes, it works, if you follow the plan (get that journal, too), and get REAL hcg.
I have a history of Insulin resistance and hormonal imbalances caused by rx antidepressants which caused me to gain about 70 Ibs. I have since lost about 35Ibs before HCG but could not seem to get any lower with diet and exercise. My body has never been the same again and it has affected my self perception and self esteem. I was newly married when all this happened so it has also affected my marriage.

So my question is do people with a history of Insulin resistance need to be more careful on the protocol and maybe reduce sugar intake via fruit?

I want to get the maximum benefit out of this round and ideally will not be doing another round if I get into the low 140's. So I want to know now if I need to reduce my fruit intake.

My other plan was maybe to have 1/2 the fruit portions at each meal. I must admit I really enjoy my fruit fixes twice a day and really look forward to them. I think my brain/ body somehow crave the sugars. That said if needs must maybe I will cut down just to get through But if I feel I am suffering then oh well back to 2 fruit a day
