Default How soon after a cheat in P2 is safe to move to P3 w.o. jeopardizing Stabilizing ?
I am getting close to needing to transition to P3, technically I probably should have already....

Sunday with all the family things going on we cheated pretty big time.

Twice baked potato, some butter and a small sliver of French Silk pie being the most egregious of the no no foods.

"Only" Gained 1.5, lost 1lb of that since, still need to shed .5 just to get back to even.....

But none of that is really important, just providing the salacious details...

The real question is, I fully intend to do a right & proper P3 to stabilize and lock in this new set point for my current weight, and hopefully go for a little more in a later round.

How soon after this cheat can I do Last Injection Day and begin my P3 transition, without jeopardizing my ability to stabilize?

Thanks,
Rev

There's no set time. If you're happy with your weight where you are, you can transition when you're ready. Just make sure you've been on enough days.

Thanks Grammy.

I read another thread recently where someone cheated and wanted to move directly onto P3 and you had recommended to them NOT to end P2 on a cheat, so that's why I was curious about how long after a cheat, but going immediately back to VLCD after the cheat day would be 'safe' to transition to P3.

For me I am going to remain for as many days as it takes to get back to what I was pre-cheat or if I wake up one morning with a surpass I might hold out for -3 additional pounds, but at that point I will transition for sure.

I took a planned 1 week interruption after 31 days and today marks 31 days again so that's a total of 62 which is longer than most people recommend, so yeah I've been on plenty 'long enough' so even though I have more weight I'd like to loose, I am much happIER than I was before I began needless to say.

I really haven't picked an absolute end weight, more like have a tentative concept in my mind but it will just depend on how I look & feel...presently I'm down 2 pant sizes & 1 top size, and 40lbs lighter, but I've had a lot of Plateaus after about the 1st 10 days after the 1 week interruption, which would have been 41 days, so I think I shouldn't drag this out any further, body seems to be telling me to take a break.

Anyway's thanks for the reply.

P3 here I come!
