LOL, I've read several places on this forum that your skin is gonna firm in P3 and/or P4.
As of today, I'm in R1.P2.D16. On Day 4, lying on my stomach in my bed I could feel I was lying on something hard. I often have other stuff in my bed (clothing, drawing block, book, whatever), and I instinctivly reached down my hand to remove it as it was slightly annoying. To my UTTER and COMPLETE chock, I realized I wasn't lying on anything... it was my own stomach that had, in lack of a better word, 'hardend up'. It was as if someone had injected something into my skin and made it hard and firm. As I laid there, I could feel this weird kinda tingling sensation, kinda tucking sensation in my skin. You just like when you contract your stomach muscles, you feel a contracting sensation in that area - this was just my skin. I tried to lay on my back, completely still, totally relaxed - didn't change a thing, could still feel it. Next day, the "show" went on. I felt I had something under my belly skin, LOL, and my face started to "harden" up too... I have pretty cheekbones but they was visibly reduced because my cheeks plumbed up and my skin got really firm and "tight". Oh man, I looked like when I was a teenager XD I didn't look bloated at all, it was rather pretty, but I love my cheekbones, and my face was actually a bit 'sore' if I pressed my face, but it never hurt, it was just a bit sensitive. This freak-show went on the next 4-6 days. Then boom, within a day it completely went away. Belly skin got back to it's normal "looser self". I don't have hanging skin, but when I move or walk, my pot belly and car-tire around my waist "wiggles". I did not wiggle when all this crazy stuff went on - it was that tight!! I really thought it had all just been in my mind or "wishfull thinking" - but today I woke up and have had this strange tingling/tucking sensation in my stomach again, it's been going on all day. HCG is the weirdest, most frustrating and most rewarding diet I've ever done. I've been stalling the last 3 days, so hope the return of "the skin crawl" is a sign that I'm on my way out of it. Anyone had any or similar experiences like me? ![]() |

I'm wondering if I did have a situation like that. Last night, my stomach felt pretty hard and I was kind of in pain. It went away after an hour or so. I thought it might be because it was a loading day perhaps I had eaten too much. For me it could have also been a negative reaction to THC in my bloodstream as well. I don't think my actual skin was hard though, it seemed to be under the surface.

Brokenharted: I didn't feel any skin crawling or hardening on my loading days. I did feel bloated and my stomach was so inflated that I felt a bit uncomfortable, but it never felt anything like this. This is a physical, tucking sensation of the skin itself and my stomach and back being hard and smoothing out. But since you had some sign of hardening of the skin/fat, it would be fun to see if you are going to experience actual 'skin crawl' when you enter VLCD :-)
Haveasmile: You were right, it WAS a good sign: I broke my two day stall by going down 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs) this morning and my skin on my side firmed up like you won't believe... I stated into the mirror for like 5 minuts in disbelief. I looked like I had visibly lost 6 lbs overnight, this really is CRAZY! I am a slow looser, I'm only 152cm (5'0) and only need to loose around 10 kg/22lbs in all, so this occasional skin screepy-crawly really makes me wanna go on till I reach my goal. I've heard stories about people saying that they could see this "re-molding" going on from day to day, but my sceptical and academic mind thought this was far-fetched and just wishful thinking. I am sooo gonna love my skin crawls from now on, no more complaining!! |

I must say that I am both super excited but also extremely puzzled about all this 'skin crawling' and the HCG diet in general.
ANYONE who says that the homeopathic pellets/drops wont work don't know what they are talking about, or have a faulty product. Even though I am a slow looser, and I do well on a lowcarb/paleo/atkins diet, I've never been able to eat 500 kcal a day, not feel hunger or fatiqued, visibly firming up like you wouldn't believe, and loose on average 3,3 lbs a week! There is something very, very groundbreaking and peculiar about the HCG, and in paticular the homepathic version, that cannot logically be explained by simple placebo, (mass-)hysteria, imagination, self-suggestion or wishful thinking. |
