Hi guys 'n gals,
Has anyone been using the Hunger Scale (from the book Weight Loss Apocalypse) during P2 or P3? I've been using the Hunger Scale for a few days now and have learned a HUGE amount about my habit of overeating... But I've decided that it's not good for me to use the hunger scale in P2 as I'm eating too few calories becuase of it (approx 315-350) instead of my pre-hunger-scale 420-450 calories. I think the lower calories is affecting my weight loss, as my numbers have been a little lower. Has anyone else tried the hunger scale in P2 and found it to affect their numbers? But I do think the hunger scale is a BRILLIANT tool, and I know intuitively that the Hunger Scale will be brilliant for me to use during P3, to re-learn how to eat more appropriate amounts. Has anyone tried the hunger scale in P3? ** I've made a video talking about all this. Watch it HERE and let me know what you think! And let me know what your experience has been like with the Hunger Scale too. I'm so curious! Love, HappyConsciousGal |

I love WLA. I coach a few friends on HCG and I suggest to them to study WLA and concentrate on emotional eating during P2 and execute what we learn about eating when hungry and stopping when barely full on P3. For many of us the HCG prevents hunger and I notice that Hcgers that consistently eat under 500 cals during P2 end up regaining at some point during P3 or 4. Maybe because they are very undernourished. Don't get me wrong, I know many of us return to our old eating habits and regain no matter what, I just hope to see us get the very best chance for success and forever no more yoyoing. WLA is such a great help in dealing with emotional eaing! I wish you all great successes and no more yoyoing!!!

I just watched your video and found it very helpful, thank you! I have always thought that I should eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full, but.....knowing those two things has been the difficulty. I think I will also put this in practice during P3 and make it a lifetime choice. Thanks so much for sharing!
