Default Having a problem..What to do??
Hey everyone, thanks in advance.

Today is my 2nd day of vlc, my first round. When I added up my calories last night before bed I was 50 under. I'm sitting here now Trying to eat strawberries.
If I finish them I will be 150 calories under. I'm not hungry (having hard time with strawberries).

I know this is not enough calories. I am afraid to make myself eat alot when I am not hungry since I tend to binge when I do that.

Any suggestions? I don't want to ruin my body by not eating but don't want to fall off the diet because I start forcing myself to eat when I am not hungry.

50 calories under is not a problem. I wouldn't want to be 150 under every day either.

You should be adding vegetables during lunch or dinner to reach 500 calories. There is a wonderful list on here that will give you approved foods and calories. Just increase your veggies during meal times and you should be alright.
I am just loading, but I plan preparing my meals for the week on Sunday, and that way I know each day I will get 500 calories without thinking or effort. It will take some time, but it's time out of one day and I will be set all week. Just a suggestion.

I thought Simeon's protocol just has you eating in certain quantities -- like 100 grams chicken, 2 cups of a specific veggie, 1 grissini and 1 specific fruit. I don't understand why we have to add up our calories? I am only on VLCD 5 and never added up calories, just weigh/measure food and I am losing?

Thanks everyone,

yesterday was just so hard to eat. Hoping today is better. If not then I think I will just try to seperate my meals better and see if it helps.

I don't add up calories either, Swiss. If you follow protocol, you will never go over the 500 calories.
