Default HCG worth it?
hey guys a background on me: i decided to join a gym march 2011, it's been an exact year since that date and i've lost 90 pounds. i weight train 2 a week, and do cardio 6. honestly, i'm getting anxious waiting for the last few so i've been looking into this HCG diet. I've heard people have lost up to 30-50 pounds in a month. it's just really mentally difficult being it's VLCD.
i really want to get to my goal weight already so i can start cycling long distance and starting crossfit, so my question to you.. what do you guys think.. should i do the HCG? do you guys think it'll be worth it? anyone here have any experience with it? did you gain the weight back? did you feel bad? did you end up with alot of flabby skin? did you lose alot of muscle?

what i'm scared of is doing it, and then feeling extremely guilty about losing all the weight so fast and consider it "cheating"
idk how i'll feel about that

I spent a lot of time on here reading prior to starting to gain some knowledge about the entire process/experience. I'm on my very first round in phase 2 and more than thrilled I've done it! So so happy I made the decision too! I've lost 20.5 pounds since Feb 13th. I honestly am surprised ......it's been easier than I thought it would. Don't get me wrong there are hard days but the hunger is managable for sure if your dosing is right. I have got use to the diet and feel great. The very low calorie days don't last forever and it's a great way to challenge yourself. I wanted to prove to myself I could do it and I have! It's very mental for me. I would suggest it absolutely!

I think it is. I have tried WW, NS, and working out 3xs a week with a 1300 calorie diet. I barely lost any weight. 8lbs in 4 months. I've been on this since March 2nd and I have lost 16lbs in 20 days.

I am getting ready to finish my first round and have lost 35 pounds in 34 days. Needless to say, I am ecstatic! I think this diet is the BOMB, but it is not for everyone. I have friends who are considering the HCG diet to get off those last stubborn pounds. I tell them, "DO NOT start the HCG diet unless you are 110% committed to complete the protocol just described in Pounds and Inches.....that means NO CHEATS, NO NOT ONE!" I am not trying to be mean and nasty, but those folks who have had the most problems IMHO have not stuck to protocol.

I am THRILLED that I tool the plunge and started the HCG diet. I will probably complete a couple more rounds (have a lot to loose). But for the FIRST time in my life, I can envision myself at a *normal* size and weight. I am nearly 40. I have been fat my entire life (since wish). So this is a very big deal to me.
