I'm starting another round on Thanksgiving day/day after as my "load" days as well.

This will be my 2nd round; my goal is 20lbs in 23 days...I realize that is aggressive. I might go 30 days if I need to to get to the 20 mark (I am trying to avoid a 3rd round if possible).

I seem to be stabilizing just fine in P3; have stayed right at LIW, although today I was under..

For me, it's really hard to get enough food in; I'm just not hungry! But, like last night, I make SURE to throw in at least 1 protien shake if I don't feel I have eaten a lot, no matter how "not hungry" I feel. Don't want to have too little protien or too little calories...

I admittedly would like some starches like bread and pasta, but more because there are just only so many ways to fix certain things without them, rather than a "craving". I only have until Wednesday on P3, so I figure I can tough it out... I will admit, it's Fall, I am craving pumpkin and butternut squash....

My last injection was aprox. 8 weeks ago. Lost 40 lb on that one and only 42 day round I did and today I am RIGHT AT my LIW! In phase 2 I did not cheat one bit and most days I ate between 400 and 450 calories. Paid dearly financially for the program through hcgmedical . com. I have a friend who could benefit greatly from this protocol. (lapband did not work for her) She watched me get skinny and KEEP IT OFF. She wants to do the protocol and I want to help her. I have 10 to 15 more lbs I would like to loose but it isn't crucial to me. (I’m ok with where I’m at but to be real skinny would be the bomb too!) So, I ordered from ADC her 4 long rounds and me a short one. Our package is in customs now and we will be starting sometime in November. It is going to be soooo cool to watch my friend get skinny!!!!!

I am starting my first VLCD tomorrow, Monday. This will be my first time on the diet. Yesterday was my first gorging day and I succesfully put on two pounds. I honestly felt SO discouraged. I am reluctant to eat today, because I really do not want to put on more weight. Honestly.

I am doing the shots that I got from an HCG clinic. I am still skeptical. Those two lbs. didn't really help my skepticism.

I have a couple of questions: first, I was on thyroid meds for some time and I read in the book that those that have been on thyroid meds in the past may delay weight loss. Anyone with that problem?

Also, I am already constipated. Can I take something during P2 to help me with that while not jeopardizing the diet?

Im starting over today. I had a two day cheating spree. I know, bad girl. However, I'm baaaaaaack and only gained +2 (202.0) my weight before cheating was 200.4 and that is where I would like to be in the am LOL.

Weston Girl, don't be skepital, if you stick to the protocal it works!! This is my 2nd round and I lost 25lbs in 23 days on my first round. When I started my shots yesterday I was 30 lbs down from my begining weight of last round. 30 down and 70 more to go!

What dose are you taking? Are you doing IM or SQ? I also take thryoid meds and I stayed on them and did just fine. As for the other problem, try Smooth Move tea. I found it in my local grocery store in the tea section. I have always had a problem in that area and this protocal makes it worse. The Smooth Move tea works wonders, usually in a few hours. I mix it with my regular tea about 2-3 times a week, gets things moving so the weight can melt off.

It's vital you load properly, westongirl. If you don't. you will be hungry. If you up your water intake now, that will help you not gain as much but even if you do, you need to load. Did you read Pounds and Inches? That is vital to understanding it.

Thanks for your responses.

I am using the injections. I am not sure what the abbreviation would be. I did one on my stomach yesterday and one on my arm today. I wanted to see if there was a difference.

Anyway, I sent my husband out for the tea. I need to get my bm in check. I know, gross.

I read Pounds and Inches, which is what made me feel discouraged. There are so many tiny little variables that could equal no loss. I am just hoping that I can follow it.

I am crossing my fingers that I will have energy tomorrow. I am a teacher and I need all the energy in the world.

Hi everyone! Today is my first l oading day. I have been reading comments for about the last two weeks. My boss and I ordered the homepathic drops - he lost 15 lbs. the first week. I am very excited about starting the diet but also scared it won't work for me and I will be hungry. Right now, I am really stuffed. Look forward to sharing my success with all of you. Ok, so as I mentioned a little earlier, I am beginning a new round on Thanksgiving...

Question:

I am doing the hhcg. In my last round, it was necessary for me to up my dose from .5cc to .6cc, and everything was great!

Starting this new round, should I START at .5cc and "see" if I need more, or should I go ahead and start at .6cc because I know that worked last time?

Today is my first VLCD! I am soooo sick from the weekend loading, but I know I will be thankful Idid in the next few days. Gained about 5lbs which was hard as I lost 4 lbs when I loaded last round. But I should drop that 5 lbs in the next few days.

My husband and I both started VLCD today! We're grossed out from what we ate all weekend. I gained almost 3 pounds, and he gained 2 pounds. Gross!

Okay-- Today is first VLCD. I didn't gain more weight from the loading days. 2 lbs was it. I started out with 1/2 grapefruit, a breadstick (YUMMY), and black coffee. I ate at 6:45 AM. I am 5 hours in and I am getting kind of hungry, but it is not unbearable.

I guess that is to be expected. Lots of water, right?

How is everyone else?

Today is my first VLCD day! I am over food too after my two loading days.. Yikes gained 3 lbs but only up 2.4 from my LIW.. But I know that weight will be off this week! I have only had my coffee this morning, thinking about eating my apple soon. YAY super excited to get this last 15-20 lbs off!! Remember DRINK LOTS OF WATER.. My first round if I didnt drink atleast 130 FL OZ I did not loose as much ...so I am downing the water this round!

Okay, I know I have to be able to look it up, but what are the acronyms like LIW? I keep seeing them, but I don't know the lingo yet.

I can't wait until tomorrow either! I can't wait to get home and eat an apple or something! BTW-- Today's Romaine lettuce was probably the best lettuce I've ever eaten! Could that be the hunger?

Sometimes the first few days you can feel hungry.. however if it continues you might need to up your dose.. but honestly last round I remember eating strawberries and feeling like I was cheating because they tasted so amazing... I wasn't hungry just never realized how amazing they were until this diet LoL

Home made applesauce o.k? It is just apples and water - no sugar

How about chicken broth to make soup? I have organic free range broth; 1 cup = 10 calories, 0g fat, 1g carbohydrate, but 570 mg sodium (this is what I was worried about) I am freezing some to put in ice cube trays and then I melt it over my chicken (that I precooked and frooze). But, I would like soup

The problem with applesauce is figuring out how much equates to an apple. But if you can figure that out, it should be okay.
