I feel ya. I would hate to have to go to my primary doctor; he is a bike-riding, health food eating, fitness nut. I think he wouldn't be happy with me for losing weight this way; I think he would tell me that it was only about 25 pounds and that I could have done it with greater self-discipline and exercise. I would hate having to tell him!

Definitely get a glucose meter. You will need test strips and lancets, too, don't forget. If you check your glucose several times a day, your fingertips are probably going to hurt.
