Marnie, I'm in life maintenance after 3 rounds, and I never fail to gain weight when I splurge on a rotisserie chicken. It just took me 5 days to get back to stabilization weight after finishing a chicken over the course of 3 days. They're just so darn convenient to pick up at Costco, but it isn't worth the weight gain. I'll stick with making my own from now on. Thanks for sharing the soybean oil ingredient. I avoid soy and soybean oil whenever I see it; I never thought to look and see if ingredients were listed on the chicken packaging.

Bebol, There's a lot of conflicting information about soy, so you should go on how you feel when you ingest it. But the more processed the soy product is, the less healthy it is for you. I've started making my own chicken thighs by dipping them in egg and coating them in parmesan cheese and baking them for half an hour. Much better than the rotisserie, and less expensive, too! |

Your best bet concerning ANY meat is to weigh and cook it yourself. It's understandable that time-wise it's easier to buy it already cooked, but to combat that problem, just find 2 times/week to cook/grill and do all of your meat then, and throw it in the fridge and take it out when you need it...I work nightshift and overtime and if I can find time, then anyone can...You have to be organized on this program and have the food ready, or you'll be likely to stray...

I bought a rotisserie chicken tonight and ate some of it...it was good. Then I read the ingredients and it said soybean oil...yikes!!!! Anyone ate it through P2 and had problems. I am on R3P2 vVLCD 4 and have lost 6lbs. |
