Default Unsweetened Bakers Cocoa + Stevia + Hot water = OK?
So, I've read that unsweetened baker's cocoa is ok to add in as a spice in P2. So, is it ok to make HCG Hot Chocolate with the cocoa, stevia and water? I know it wouldn't be fabulous, but it might satisfy that chocolate craving. Thoughts?

Thanks!

It still has carbs and calories and is not on protocol so just use at your own risk!

I would think it would be on protocol? The unsweetened cocoa is listed on the approved spice list. Stevia is an acceptable sweetner. Water is water. I must be missing something??

It's not on the list of spices. Here is list and they are real spices not cocoa.

Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweetbasil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing.

I have been using the capella drops , "double chocolate" flavor in pepermint tea and vanilla stevia for my hot chocolate fix. The capella drops have no sugar, carbs , cals etc..

They are having a sale right now 5 for 19.95 on thier website. I bought more chocolate and some marshmallow, new york cheese cake, coconut and vanilla cupcake. I like to add them to greek yogurt in P3.

Thanks Grammy! It seems there are so many different versions of lists out there. The one I printed off has no sugar added cocoa on it. Grr!

It's always best to compare what you get off the internet the real protocol which is Pounds and Inches. And some can probably cheat with cocoa and some can't. It depends on how sensitive you are to carbs.
