Ok, so R1 started out great. 12lbs in the first week... awesome! However, my second week I only lost 2lbs, but I fell off the wagon and cheated one day, so I'll take the 2lbs. I just finished my 3rd week and I only released another 4lbs... at my weight, I could easily lose that much in a week of dieting without hcg. I have been losing and gaining the same pound for 6 days! What gives? I am following protocol. I've cut out cabbage. I've cut down on my grissini and even my fruit some days. The only thing I can think of is that despite the smooth move, fiber drinks, probiotics, vitamin C, lemon water, and magnesium citrate, I have still not "gone" in over a week. Anyone have any experience/ insight with this?
I am so fustrated! Tommorow is my last day of my current batch of hcg. I was going to mix a new batch, but I am thinking of just moving on to P3 and maybe trying again at a later date. I don't want to waste it if it's not doing anything. Nor do I want to stick to this limited menu if I'm not going to see any results. Any thoughts or suggestions? Side note: there is no reason to think I am pregnant, and I haven't done an apple day because it is merely psychological and some of the experienced memebers on the forum have advised not to. -Stephanie |

Hi Stephanie,
Sorry you are feeling so frustrated. By my math if you have lost 14.6lbs in 21 days(3 weeks), that is about .7lbs per day. Given it is common for women to lose an average of .5lbs a day, you have done really well!! Also, regarding your BMs, if you have not had one for days, that will definitely show on the scales. I have times like that too and find that upping my water intake, have a walk and adding some beef seems to help a little. I hope you are feeling more positive today, I think sometimes we expect the weight to just drop off at rates of 1lb or more a day, that happens in the first week, for the most part due to water weight, but the only people who seem to be able to do that consistently are men. The positive thing about HCG is if you stick it out for a whole round, despite stalls and even unexplained gains, you will consistently on average have a loss of .5 or more per day. I don't know any other diet that can do that, well not for me anyway. You might lose fast for the first week or so then it just stops. Best of luck to you and hopefully you are feeling better. If not then maybe you would be better off going into P3 for a while, simply because to do P2 successfully and without cheats, you really need to have your head and heart in it and only you can know what is right for you. Have you ever done a colon cleanse? At the least it will get you regulated again. The stuff I used came either in a dry power that you mix with water or in a pill form.. After using both I would suggest the pill form.. I forget the brand name.. But it is called colon cleanse, the label has a picture of a colon on it... You can purchase them from any health food store and I have even seen them at walmart..
The contents of the pill expand to 25 times their size and attach themselves to the lining of the colon... breaking off what has built up over the years. Start off slow, like 2 pills at night... then slowly build up over a couple of days to taking 3-4 pills a couple of times a day.. Within a short time frame you will be back to normal.. Hope this helps |
