I contacted the company I get my patches from. They said because the patch isn't injested it doesn't fall under the FDA guidelines, so they will not have any problems. They work just like hhcg it's just a different mode of delivery. So for all those who do hhcg...don't worry! It will be fine. From my experience the patches work as well if not better then the hhcg drops.

Also sometimes they just like to "scare" us because it limits selling. Like eBay taking it off their site. No legit reason but they did...
Where do you order your patch? Some people in the chat are wondering.

It looks like the FDA will be removing ALL Homeopathic Weight loss tinctures, Pellets, Drops etc from the market from what I've read in other press releases.t

You can read the FDA release here..
http://ht.ly/7QAQU

FDA NEWS RELEASE

For Immediate Release: December 6, 2011
Media Inquiries: Shelly Burgess 301-796-4651, shelly.burgess@fda.hhs.gov or Tamara Ward 301-796-7567, Tamara.Ward@fda.hhs.gov
Consumer Inquiries: 888-INFO-FDA

FDA, FTC act to remove “homeopathic” HCG weight loss products from the market.

Glad I'm making an order from ReliableRX before things really get crazy.
Well the HCG BIO APP patches from www.myhcgway.com are homeopathic patches... Since they are non-transdermal they are
are not under the pervue of the FDA... So the HCG BIO APP patches will be here to stay.

Since I use only prescription HCg shots it doesn't matter to me really. I believe that HCg weight loss SHOULD be supervised by a physician and it should be prescribed. No offence to the HHCG users, I hope I don't offend anyone but I don't believe in using those drops unless they are RX. But that's me. I am a nurse and so using RX HCg makes more sense to me than those "drops". Rx Hcg also comes in nasal spray and sublingual for those who need them and cannot take shots. Its the ONLY thing Dr. S used in his protocol, Where did they come out with these drops anyways. I agree with the FDA HCg should be regulated. My friend tried the drops and didn't lose a pound. The shots are the REAl HCg. With the drops you can get anything including fake HCg.
but thats what they are cracking down on as well- because they have never been proven that hCG IN ANY FORM works for weightloss- even with a perscription- because presciption hCG is supposed to be for infertility treatment etc... not weight loss.

But we should still be able to order from all day chemist and overseas places, right?
You will still be able to order from overseas- however it technically is illegal and in violation to order anything deemed as a drug or prescription without a prescription from an overseas company.

But how do you find a doctor? I spoke with my generalist and OB/GYN and neither is supportive of hCG.

You have to make sure that the drops you are receiving are FDA approved. I received my drops from my local health food store and they ARE FDA approved. You can check your HCG drops by putting them on a at home pregnancy test, it should make the test positive.....however, this does not mean that if you are to take a pregnancy test while taking HCG that it will be positive.
Well they will get a letter from the FDA at some point to. NO hCG is FDA APproved. many homeopathic hcg are made in a FDA approved facility - but that is NOT THE SAME THING as something being FDA approved.

Sublingual is a liquid form aka drops, and it would require a ton of hCG to make a nasal spray.
I agree with you, But it has been done. Also, the physician whom I work with prescribes nasal sprays as well as injections.

I agree that there are many physicians who are not in support of HCG. But there are a few weight loss clinics that employ the use of MDs Nurse practitioners and nurses as well as diet counselors for HCg. The company I go through is called CLinicalHcgdiet. They have a physician, pharmacist and diet coaches. They are online at clinicalhcgdiet.com. My diet coach is Candace and she has completed the program herself. They are a great help, however, I read Pounds and Inches and use them more as a guide. But I know what you mean. Even my own primary doctor has refused to endorse HCg but he is in support of my blood pressure and the progress my BMI has made.

Hmm you may be right...but from what I read, they are cracking down on HCg that is not prescribed or monitored by the doctor. The drops are homeopathic and so you don't really know what you are getting. At least HCg itself is given legally to women for fertility and so studies have been done to show the side effects and complications of HCg given in large doses in the body. Plus HCg is naturally produced anyways by pregnant women. Homeopathic HCg is something totaly different as well. I think The FDA are worried it is just some other form of miracle drug and since it is not HCG per se, they still have to regulate it somehow whilst further studies are done? I don't know but thats what I think

They appear to be cracking down on only homeopathic right now. It was homeopathics that were listed--and one that isn't even a homeopathic anymore but has only amino acids. So it's hard to know what they going to hit. I'm hoping I can continue to get it from overseas.

thanks!

I have completed a whole round on the patches and they work really well. I liked not having to mess with them everyday. I am very satisfied with them.

Good luck to you!

I read some of the letters that were sent out and looked at some of the websites. I think if they were truly trying to crack down on homeopathic hcg they would have started with the wholesalers who supply everyone. On the websites I saw they displayed a FDA logo which they shouldn't, and made some bold claims like Miracle etc. I believe it was more about the claims these were making. Also from reading on the forum the GNC brand gets a lot of negative reviews and doesn't work well. From my understanding they didn't say for them to stop selling just to comply i.e. tone down their claims unless they can prove them. With homeopathics they can't be patented or prescribed so there isn't any money for billion dollar studies. I think the proof is in the fact that thousands upon thousands of people use homeopathics daily, not hcg just homeopathics in general and you never hear of any negative side effects, injuring or killing people. You could probably almost google daily prescriptions hurting or killing people and these are the ones that are known. How many do we not know?

If people would study and learn all about homeopathics they would feel more comfortable and not be so concerned. They have been around for thousands of years and work.

I hope this helps to explain at least my point of view. Thanks and Good luck!

I understand there are quacks out there who are selling amino acids only, NiGen by biotech is one of those quacks, but aren't all the other diet pills and powders on the market bogus also. Dexatrim, FullFast, Lyprozene none of those things work. Are they only cracking down on Hcg because they use the FDA label on their website or because real Hcg works? The fact that Hcg works would really put a kink in the weight loss industry. Think of all the money that would be lost with no one using all those products. How about bariatric surgeons? They would be out of business if everyone used Hcg. Just my opinion.
