Default Questions for anyone who has done a interruption????
How much did you gain?

How long was your interruption?

I am just curious, trying to see what the norm/average gain is? I am so close to goal but have plans for alitttle getaway with the hubby (no kids). Thursday will be day 21 so I figure I need to do a longer round to get to goal anyway. So doing a 4 day interruption.

Also now how does this work with counting my days now? Do I not include the non hcg days

Here is my schedule, does this look correct

11/3 Day 21 of VLC
Do no HCG 11/4 and 11/5 or can I do it 11/5 and 11/6??
Going away 11/7 and 11/8 (want to eat P3 while away)

Does the two days of no HCG count in my 4 day interruption?
Or do I need to do 2 days of no HCG and 4 full days on P3 before I can resume my pellets??

If you are on pellets you just do no HCG VLCD for 2 days then enter P3 & the 1st day of your PI starts on that day. You will also need to do at least 20 days after your PI for stability regardless of where you are right now. No less than a 4 day PI and no longer than 2 weeks.

The amount of weight gained will vary between person to person... you need to try & stick to P3 or you WILL gain weight especially if you add in sugars & starches especially adding them together on your PI. Then you will just have more to loose once you come back. Remember to keep up your water as well! Usually when I enter P3 I can do no wrong if I keep my water at 2 liters. The minute I drop off... I gain =(

Ok so I HAVE to do 20 more days after my interruption ...even if I hit goal before then?

I did an interuption for my birthday, earlier this month. I went to cabo. I gained like 6lbs over the 2 weeks and was horrified. I started back on hcg diet again and am on day 16 and have lost 20lbs this round.. I'm lower in weight than i have ever been...well, for as long as I can remember. Even early high school years. I take the drops

Thanks for sharing - this is good info. did you limit what you ate during those 2 weeks to just P3 foods or did you drink and eat sugar / starches? I'm curious because I want to take a week christmas to NYE and eat non P3 foods and drink wine - I'm trying to figure out how to approach it.

I did a short planned interuption. I continued to take my hcg and just ate as close to protocol as I could. I just started right back with the VLCD when I was done. I did one for 3 days and only gained 1 1/2 lbs. It took about 3 days after to get it back off. I felt it was not good to bounce around on and off hcg, so I just stayed on it. I hope this helps. Enjoy your time!

I had an interruption, due to having surgery. I was off for 2 weeks.
While I flexed up and down, I stayed within the 2 pounds on either side of my last drop day!
When I went back on my drops (on Thanksgiving), I was 0.2 pounds higher than my last drop day.

Once I went back on my drops, I don't count those interruption days, I'm just completing my 40 days of drops from where I left off.
Make sure you do the 48-72 (I did 48) hours of continuing the 500 calories, or you'll skyrocket! After the 2-3 days of getting the hCG out of your system, then you can move into eating low-carb. Basically, an interruption is treated like temporarily bumping into the next phase.
